Legion of the damned. They look pretty good. I might make a small contingent (as I have always wanted to) after I am finished with my yet to be named space marine chapter.

Yeah I saw them in GW last week, they had them in one of the display cases. I kinda like them as well, except for the one with the brazier on his back. I doubt I will get any though even though they are relatively cheap points wise, they don't pass within my chapter.

I've always like the LoD models the best out of all the metal SM models.  Strange, I still haven't bought any....

But yea. I mean I have 110ish space marines that need building (got 53 partially built, waiting for conversion pieces).

I just have always liked the LoD, Always wanted an army of them. So I may (if I end up finding a place to play here in corpus) make a 1000-15000 list of em after these current marines.

Bro... Hate to break it to you. But YES, capitalism is given to us from God. The Quran sanctions free-market capitalism, and saying we should remove capitalism is saying that Gods system isnt good enough.

However, the problem with our society is NOT free-market capitalism.. Its rigged-market capitalism as we see happening now with endless bailouts and looting and corporatism on a global level which makes it so nobody can compete. Its also usury thats the main problem... Centralized banks printing money out of thin air, and loaning it at interest, making us debt slaves. Thats the problem.

Look how in Europe and US, everything has been become centralized to super-stores, and super-markets.... Taking out all the local businesses and market shops with it. Its not capitalism thats the problem, its the way its rigged. Thats the problem.

You say that youre worried about the New World Order and banking elite trying to take over society... What kind of slave-society do you think they want??? Its exactly the society youre talking about, with no capitalism, and no freedom. It will be a completely communist society based on eugenics where you are told if you can breed, who you can breed with, when, and how many children you can have, as well as what type of job you will work.

Yes, the Quran sanctions capitalism. Read it again if you have questions. Saying that capitalism is evil is like saying that God is a liar and sanctions evil.

@ Neke:  Hey I know this is like months later, but the only books I have ever seen LoD is the Citadel catalogs.  Kind of odd to have a company like GW invest all that time into models for a bad ass name / no fluff army.

Na they have fluff.

They've been mentioned in every Marine Codex since Rouge Trader.
They are believed to be that lost unknown chapter from the founding.

I would tell you were to find it all, but my hard drive failed on my the other night and as of yet I have not been able to recover any data. While I do have the books, looking up the info in the pdf's is sooo much easier.

I'll try and find some stuff this weekend.

You've got my interest.  I got all the editions of 40k except the fifth.  I'll be looking for this just for fun.  And as it happens, my first banner for the Ultramarines competition is for LoD.  I'll be happy to share after my submission.

Thanks, that was the first I read about them.  I guess that explains why I never read much about the Fire Hawks either.  Good stuff, though, especially the part where they decorate their armor with whatever they want.  I think I may do a Fire Hawks banner after this one.

no news on LotD being part of Armageddon...but its possible considering they appear and then disappear once the job is done.
